Boquillas Ranch can be reached by driving to mile post 123.5 on old highway 66 and going north at the main gate. The Navajo Nation, is the owners of this 750,000 acre ranch that is located about 60 miles east of Kingman which is open for use by all users. The ranch does utilize a sign-in sign-out system, but there is no charge to sportsmen and others to use the property.
Each year, the Boquillas Ranch is the final destination for thousands of visitors, mostly hunters who have drawn one of the several thousand elk, deer, antelope, turkey and desert-bighorn-sheep tags. There is also hunting for predators, and the ranch has one of the largest populations of prairie dogs in northern Arizona.
