Bullhead City is located in Arizona's west-central Mohave County, on the east bank of the Colorado River near the juncture of Arizona, California and Nevada. It is the sister city to the popular gaming community of Laughlin, Nevada. Bullhead City is a rapidly growing community nestled along the beautiful blue waters of the Colorado River, with great fishing and boating.
If you have not seen the area in recent years, prepare for a shock! 1,000's of new affordable homes have been built, primarily for the babyboomers and snowbirds about to retire and looking for a great place to live.
Arizona Route 68 begins in Bullhead City and ends near Kingman, connecting into US Highway 93.

Katherine's Landing |

Katherine's Landing takes it name from the old Katherine Mine that is located north east of the current Marina.Katherine's Landing offers fishing for Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, crappie, and sunfish. There are also channel catfish and carp. Access to Katherine's Landing is paved.
Facilities for public use are located at Katherine's Landing, in Arizona near Davis Dam. Lake Mohave has 237 miles of freshwater shoreline that can be enjoyed year 'round as days are almost always sunny.

Union Pass |

Heading up the long grade from Bullhead City on Route 68 toward Kingman, many a motorist has wished they had turned of the air-conditioner in the car on a hot-summer day. The 12 mile grade is a challenge not to be taken lightly. Do yourself a favor and turn off the air conditioner to keep the engine from heating up.
Enjoy the beauty of the mountains and be sure to look for thumb rock on your right about half way to the top. When you reach Union Pass, the view will quickly turn to the broad valley that contains the community of Golden Valley.

The high, broad, desert valley with moderate tempatures in the winter has long been known as an area of modest manaufactured homes for retirees. Kingman |

Topping the pass, Kingman and surrounding ares will come into view. Notice the mountains across the valley where pine trees give a green touch to the beauty. Haulapai Mountain Park is located there.
On the right as you come down into Kingman is an area of rock formation and mesas. You will want to have your camera ready.
